John Brunero and I are running a conference on Practical Reason and Metaethics, here in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 21st to 23rd. Speakers include Michael Bratman (Stanford), Stephen Darwall (Yale), Jonathan Drake (Texas), Amelia Hicks (Kansas State), Chris Howard (Arizona), Sarah McGrath (Princeton), Barry Maguire (UNC), and Sigrún Svavarsdóttir (Tufts). There were over 75 submissions for the refereed program and we expect it to be a very good conference.

There will be a free conference dinner Friday night and a party Saturday, so please register if you are coming by sending an email to nebraskaphilosophyconference@gmail.com stating that you plan on attending. There’s no fee to attend.

Getting Here:

You can fly into Lincoln Airport (LNK), which is 4.8 miles (approximately a 10 minute drive) from the Courtyard Marriott. Estimated taxi fare is $19 one way. The Courtyard Marriott also offers complimentary, on request, Airport Shuttle Service to and from LNK. (Call 402-904-4800 when you land. Look for the yellow and green Marriott shuttle. Wait times could be around 10 minutes.)

Another option is to fly into Omaha’s Eppley Airfield (OMA), which is 62 miles (approximately a 60 minute drive) from the Courtyard Marriott in Lincoln. Transportation by car or van between Omaha and Lincoln can be arranged through OMALiNK, which usually runs around $50 one-way. Let us know if you are doing this and we may be able to coordinate a ride-share with another conference attendee.
