A much-anticipated announcement from Russ Shafer-Landau:

The annual metaethics workshop that's long been held at UW-Madison is now moving (along with yours truly) to UNC Chapel Hill. There will be no workshop in Madison this year. The dates of this year's workshop are Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2015.

Among other changes, this shift will enable the deadline for abstracts to moved from May 1 (its current date) to June 1. Abstracts (of 2-3 double-spaced pages) of papers in any area of metaethics are welcome from almost anyone–those who were speakers in the 2013 or 2014 workshop are not eligible to submit abstracts for this year’s event. A program committee will evaluate submissions and make decisions by early July.

The new website for the workshop (http://metaethicsworkshop.web.unc.edu/) is not quite finished but it now contains enough information to be helpful for those who want to make plans to attend. If you're among them, please just email me to register for the workshop, which is free of charge.

If you would, please pass along this information to grad students and colleagues who might be interested in attending the workshop.

Hope to see you in Chapel Hill this fall!

All the best,
Russ
