- Samantha Brennan has just been promoted to Professor at the University of Western Ontario, effective July 1, 2008.

Michael Cholbi has received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at California State University Pomona.

Steve Finlay, of the University of Southern California, has been awarded a Charles A. Ryskamp Fellowship, funded by the Mellon Foundation and administered by the ACLS, and awared to no more than twelve individuals annually.

Jason Kawall has just received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at Colgate University

Doug Portmore has just received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at Arizona State University, and was named Faculty Fellow at the Murphy Institute, Tulane University for the coming year

Mark Schroeder has just received tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at the University of Southern California

Dave Shoemaker, of Bowling Green University, was named Faculty Fellow at the Murphy Institute, Tulane University

Dave Sobel was made Robert R. Chambers Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and the Moral Sciences at the University of Nebraska.
