The Prindle Institute

Located at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, the Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics is dedicated to stimulating rigorous inquiry and probing discourse focused on the pivotal and inescapable ethical issues of the day. Made possible by Janet Prindle, a 1958 graduate of DePauw University dedicated to the importance of ethical inquiry, the Institute offers a variety of platforms for exploration of ethics. In addition to sponsoring PEA Soup, the Institute also hosts The Prindle Post, a site dedicated to explaining ethics in news and culture, and the Examining Ethics podcast. It also holds on-campus programs to promote ethics discussion, including the Young Philosophers Lecture Series and the Undergraduate Ethics Symposium.
