PEA Soup is pleased to announce our forthcoming discussion, from July 30 to July 31, hosted by Johann Frick, on the work of Peter Singer.
As described by Johann, his thoughts are a tribute to Peter, but also a reflection on his distinctive methodology in practical ethics. Johann will also touch on some broader themes — for example, the trade-off between breadth of appeal vs explanatory depth and generality in ethics, and the difficulty of being both a philosopher and an ‘esoteric campaigner’.
We hope you will join us on the 30th and 31st.
